16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign: 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an International Campaign to raise awareness about gender based violence as a human rights issue.
Starting with Nov. 25, which is International Day Against Violence against Women and ending with Dec. 10, which is International Human Rights Day.
These days were selected in order to symbolically link violence against women and human rights and to emphasize that such violence is a violation of human rights.

Dec. 3 - International Day of Persons with Disabilities,
Dec. 5 - International Volunteer Day,
Dec. 6 - Canada’s National Day of Remembrance and Action
