Amnesty International presents: International Women's Day Flash Mob
Thursday, March 8, 2012
12:00pm until 12:30pm
Vancouver Art Gallery (Robson Street side)

In celebrating International Women's Day 2012, Amnesty International will be holding a Freeze Flash Mob!

All you need to do is show up at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 11:55am sharp wearing purple clothing (and/or any kind of purple accessories). We will be providing you with newspapers that have words relating to women's rights written on them.

We ask that participants show up at the venue at 11:55am to grab a newspaper. Then at 12:00pm, everyone will freeze for 4 minutes while pretending to read the newspaper in order to emphasize that women's issues should be on the world's daily agenda everywhere.

We would love if you and your friends could participate.
