  Funds raised at the filmathon will go towards the creative process an
 d public event being planned for the 20th anniversary of the Montreal 
 massacre, December 6th, 2009. On December 6, 1989, fourteen women were
  murdered at the University of Montreal. December 6th later became Can
 adaâ€™s National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Wom
 en.\n\nCanâ€™t reserve a seat? For those who want to see the films and
  be inspired by the speakers and their stories, drop in anytime during
  the day. Come see the amazing feature film! Donations gratefully acce

 documentary about newly inaugurated President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf â€
 “ the first freely elected female head of state in Africa. Having won 
 a hotly contested election with the overwhelming support of women acro
 ss Liberia, Sirleaf faces the daunting task of lifting her country fro
 m debt and devastation. She turns to a remarkable team of women, appoi
 nting them in positions such as police chief, finance minister, minist
