If this applies to you, please describe your involvement in women's memorial making/violence prevention?
Former Deputy Director and BC Provincial Crime prevention Coordinator with that specific responsibility and program management of transition homes, violence prevention, intervention services and parenting programs. Still involved in We Can BC

What changes for women would you like to see happen?
Equality and non-violence for all - I believe parenting and socialization perpetuates roles and social values that allow abuse of power, inequality to continue through generations. Little boys and girls are raised differently; boys are rewarded for using power and feel entitled - girls are not. They become mew and the women are not seen as their equals. This has to change.
