If this applies to you, please describe your involvement in women's memorial making/violence prevention?: The Kamloops Annual Shoe memorial to remember all the women and girls that were lost to voilence. Shoes are collected and a name tag is affixed to them to make a visual impact. The shoes are displayed on December 6th from 11 am-2pm at St. Andrews on the Square in Kamloops, BC. The shoes are donated to the local womens groups and women as well as girls who are in need of shoes.

If applicable, how long have you been involved in women's memorial making/violence prevention?: 4 years

What changes for women would you like to see happen?: We would people to know the changes that they can make to end violence against women. This year our goal is not only to get as many shoes to put on display, but to make people aware of the organizations in our area that are there to help. We would like more community involment.
