Profile Information

If this applies to you, please describe your involvement in women's memorial making/violence prevention?
I am new to the Women's involvement until just this past year.In 2007 I lost my mother to domestic abuse at the hands of my biological father. Since than a 19 unit transition house was dedicated in the memory of my mom called "Robin's Hope" located in Kingston ontario, part of kingston Interval house. I recently attended the unveiling of the Womens statue in Brockville Ontario where my mother's name was mentioned as being one of four lost since 2006 in that area.
If this applies to you, what is the name of your group or project or memorial? (Or is it now ROSE?)
It is now ROSE
If applicable, how long have you been involved in women's memorial making/violence prevention?
Just this past year as we spent the last three years sionce my mother's death ( may 17th 2007) in and out of court etc...
What changes for women would you like to see happen?
More housing choices, postive male role models programs for female youth and their father's.
