Daleen Bosse (Muskego) Memorial Run at Saskatoon to Onion Lake Cree Nation

Final Memorial Run! This is the fourth and final Run my son is doing. He and his brother and friends run to raise awareness about the missing and murdered aboriginal sisters. Their sister went missing from Saskatoon in May of 2004. Her remains were found in August of 2008.

If this applies to you, please describe your involvement in women's memorial making/violence prevention?
My daughter, Daleen Kay Bosse (Muskego) was missing for four years when her remains were found 10 miles north of Saskatoon, SK, Canada. We searched for her all those years, as well as raising awareness about all missing/murdered Aboriginal Women in Canada. We continue to have Awareness Runs.

What changes for women would you like to see happen?
- better housing for single moms
- educational opportunities for young women in general
- for all sectors of society to show respect and concern for our native women.
- for all levels of government not to turn a blind eye when a native girl, woman, person goes missing
