If this applies to you, please describe your involvement in women's memorial making/violence prevention?: When I moved to Vancouver from Ontario over 15 years ago, I volunteered for the filmmathon in support of the Women's Monument that was being created in Vancouver in memory of the 14 women murdered in Montreal, Dec 6, 1989 and all women murdered by men. From that event, I became deeply involved in making the monument, Marker of Change, a reality and I continue to work with the group in realizing this website, ROSE, to advance our efforts collectively and globally.
