If this applies to you, please describe your involvement in women's memorial making/violence prevention?
I have 54 friends on the missing women's list. My best friend Cara Ellis and so many other women that cared about me and hung on to me when I was on the downtown eastside. I have a good life today because they hung on to me at my worst. My younger sister Theresa is on skid row in Vancouver today

What changes for women would you like to see happen?
A whole bunch need more space!! 100 female detox beds in the downtown eastside, Long term recovery houses and long term treatment centers, a life skills program in all schools so that our young people are given the best tools to deal with life on lifes terms, emotional issues and past abvuse issues. and the list goes on
