I was introduced to Barbara Mills of Sister in Solidarity and began attending group meetings. I was then empowered as a supportive group member/ volunteer/ advocate, and began my Post graduate studies in Social Work. Barbara Mills was a compassionate, supportive, intelligent, and empowering force, instilling courage to all women and me. She is dearly missed.

I was introduced to Barbara Mills of Sister in Solidarity, and I have been involved as group member and supporter/volunteer / advocate since 2002
What changes for women would you like to see happen?
Systematic Policy changes that assist in reducing social barriers, create greater awareness, advocate and provide social justice, create anti oppressive framework environments, and equality for all diverse women and children in all communities.
