If this applies to you, please describe your involvement in women's memorial making/violence prevention?
I connected with the Women's Monument Committee after we learned Marker of Change was under threat, and have been working with them to protect the space and raise awareness ever since.
If this applies to you, what is the name of your group or project or memorial? (Or is it now ROSE?)
If applicable, how long have you been involved in women's memorial making/violence prevention?
What changes for women would you like to see happen?
Safe streets, equal rights and pay should not be too much to ask. Our feminist history gives me hope – I would like all people - especially of my generation - learn from them, given the ongoing struggles. Women’s issues are still significant, underreported in the media, and it is so important to continue to highlight them in our society. Feminism should not be embarrassing.
